Your watch movement like any other product that has a mechanism that will require routine maintenance. The frequency of maintenance required will depend on your model, climate and the way you use your watch.
Most major watch houses and Premier Watch Repairs recommend you have your watch serviced every 3-6 years or following a failed water-resistance test.

Both mechanical and battery operated quartz movements are fully dismantled for ultrasonic cleaning. Precision control of the movement
Complete reassembly of the movement while carrying out lubrication to the manufacturers specification
Fit movement to case, fit new seal and check closure of the case back

Premier Watch Repairs will always do our utmost to restore your vintage watch. However due to the age and the condition of your watch movement, we are sometimes limited by the availability of watch parts which are no longer produced. We are not able to guarantee water resistance of vintage models.
